Playful Leeds started in January 2012 as a project of Cultivate run by Emma Bearman. Over the past 18 months it has generated 4 big events, 3 robot making workshops whilst investigating how we can playfully take part in shaping the future of where we live. Playful seeks to connect the dots between business, academia, public agencies, third sector and the people. Over this period a great many people have become involved in thinking about the city we live in and how they’d like to play more. We are in the final throes of setting up a not for profit group.
At the heart is a belief that every individual is creative, they may not think they are, the more this creativity manifests itself in the place people live, work and play in, the more invested that individual might be.
